Located just about ninety minutes away by road from Nairobi City, Beverly School boasts of a modern campus below the slopes of the Aberdares Ranges and not too far from the famous Aberdares National Park in the heartland of Nyandarua County on a Forty Acre farmland. The school is surrounded by a diverse farming rural community therefore BSK offers its pupils access to these resources during the course of their education.

What Do We Believe About Character Education?

Character education is the responsibility of adults, because children model what they observe around them. At BSK we believe that education seeks to help students develop as persons both intellectually and morally. Children only thrive if they feel valued and secure at school. Our faculty and staff are dedicated and focus on social, emotional and moral skills towards promoting positive behavior. Within a challenging and stimulating environment, we allow for individual differences and yet promote a sense of belonging and a shared spirit because we understand and appreciate the power of teamwork. Your child learns to appreciate their own individual differences and how to live with others as they aspire to become true to themselves. By the time our pupils leave BSK they are confident and able to handle daily demands presented to them in the form of life challenges with integrity, honesty and loyalty.

Living in the era of technology driven development BSK expects to pride itself with modern facilities including internet connectivity for student learning and faculty classroom instruction methodology to challenge our pupils to respond with resourcefulness and ingenuity and for hands on training. Boarding As An Option

The value of a full boarding school lies in personal growth and development, independence, self reliance, the ability to relate to others and the forging of lifelong friendships for your son/daughter. Your child will reside and share space with others in a dorm separated in cubicles for four students equipped with a reading/study table complete with storage area for their little and favourite things. The cubicle will be your child’s immediate community in which she/he will sleep, do prep/homework, relax with friends and spend some amount of leisure time. The dorms have common rooms for supervised television viewing, video and recreational facilities. Within the dormitory space we have house-mothers who ensure all is well and monitors movement of children in and out of their dorm areas. A senior faculty lives within the dorm space and she/he is generally responsible for all aspects of the development of your child. Each House-master plays a critical role in the nurturing of the boys and girls assisted by the house-mothers, tutors and matron. As a school we appreciate the fact that your children spend three quarters of their time in school. We are therefore determined to make their environment inviting, comfortable and safe.

Dinning Services

At BSK we see ourselves as one big family that eats together. Students, faculty and staff are expected to eat in the main dining hall in the student centre. Meals will be prepared by qualified staff that has previous experience and adequate institutional training to ensure food safety and timeliness under the supervision of a qualified chef. Input from our students is considered essential in the preparation of the school menus. We also believe that this will enhance and reinforce classroom teaching that translates to good healthy minds and bodies of our students and staff and well as encouraging participation in decision making.
